OK back to the point. Like many on here I'm 60. And lived in London for many years. Grew up in Winchester in the least sports-interested family I'd ever come across. Went to the Dell first in 1967 with friends - we beat either Sunderland or Newcastle, can't remember which but I vividly remember a Ron Davies headed goal. Was hooked. Didn't get to an away game till Cardiff 2-2 draw in 1974.

They won't decide till tomorrow afternoon. But I hope that if there's any doubt he'll be rested to keep him fit for the remainder of the run-in.
-
It's not any individual save tonight -- it's the combination of all of them that makes it such a brilliant performance

Highlights: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zhnmo9v2Qw&feature=youtu.be I don't think anyone else has put them up yet

Yes, definitely keep going. You're a hero

Second game running on 5Live SE. In fact we've had quite a few commentaries there this season. Make a change from Dave and Adam.
-
Why not more praise for Kelvin? Great to keep a clean sheet in those conditions. One or two excellent saves. Wheres Myhill had almost nothing to do because we were so reluctant to shoot.
-
False reasoning. We could be unlucky and suffer another plague of injuries and suspensions -- and have, say, Lambert, Lee, Sharp, Fonte and Lallana all out for the rearranged game. Let's beat Brum in a blizzard.

http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/79557-my-mate-is-the-ref-tonight/ The funniest thread I've read on a football forum for a long time. Worth going through all the pages.

yellow yellow yellow it would even drive a canary mad

Finished 2-2. Perfect, I say. Kills any chance of Leicester making automatic promo.
-
Is there still a chance that it'll be on ESPN? ITV has chosen Boro v Sunderland for Wed night, leaving us v Millwall or Sheff Wed v Blackpool for ESPN's Tuesday night game. ESPN website gives nothing away.

He's not married. Maybe she's the first of the new wave of Japanese fans that we'll pick up through having Lee in the team...
-
mmmm I hope you're right sweetie-pie
-
I think we'll find out tonight, one way or another.
-
I think he's split up with Iconiq. Sad for him but maybe just as well for Saints.

Hilarious BBC piece about it. They've turned Nicola into a lady http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16678939.stm? Expect it'll be corrected soon but this is what it says: Southampton have told BBC Solent they will deal internally with midfielder Jason Puncheon after he used Twitter to criticise chairman Nicola Cortese. The winger, 25, has not been involved with the first team since returning from a loan spell at QPR. "I'm not going anywhere," Puncheon tweeted. "Gonna sit and train with the kids for 18 months, see how Cortese likes that, then go on a free. "The only reason I train with the kids is because of Nicola, not the manager." Puncheon later accused Cortese of trying to play games, and said she would not speak to him face to face.

But the Leeds game, first of the season, was one of our best performances so far. And we haven't lost in four televised games. No hoodoo

If you'd got a work permit last week for a job on the other side of the world, wouldn't you want to sort things out at home -- packing up, leaving parties, farewell to family etc -- before flying out to start it? I think it's great that he's arriving here permanently as soon as Saturday. Then the signing itself will be very quick. I think all the contract stuff is basically sorted.

No but Swansea and Norwich fans are
-
It should certainly boost Bart's confidence
-
Can't work out if it's going to be available on the iPlayer to replay later and gloat (I hope)
-
I saw an urban red fox in our London garden at breakfast this morning chewing an old blue shoe.

Quite. I was amazed (and mightily relieved) that Pool took so few shots from distance at a keeper whose confidence was clearly shot to bits. If Bart's in goal, the Skates might not be so reticent.
