With the same problem that has blighted RM for the last 5yrs, he CANNOT set up a defence, this year due to the higher standard we won't out score teams like last season so down we go , what's worrying after the penalty miss we pretty much gave up, that's not playing for the manager

At what he's achieved in his managerial career what makes you believe he will come good in epl, not being aggy just curious because to me he's miles out of his depth and I can't see it changing

Very similar to my daughter, she/her team are the u13s futsal national champions, futsal has been great for her and as it is the 8 in her futsal team are also apart of there 14 girl squad that are jpl national champions, the touch and control of the 8 are head and shoulders above even the better teams in the jpl, looking back at a post a few up it was Max kilman who played for England futsal before even getting a pro club

With the 433 if in defensive form you generally have 1 cdm with 2 cm ideally box to box which I'm not sure we have, possibly in fernandes but we'll see. In a 4231 you have effectively have 2 cdm but need to be disaplined so if 1 goes 1 stays, probably on 1st glance Downes and Big Les, so for me Ramsdale Suga Thb Bednarek Tayl Downes Les Kwp Fernandes Cornet Archer Now I no there's a bit of movement ie like bringing ABK in which I'd like, Taylor isn't as good as kwp but it has to be about balance, can BBD or eventually Stewart play lone CF In fact we don't even no if Archer can and Tyler Could poss thrive in the 10 role but gone for Fernandes to start with, Cornet I'm not sure but gone for what I remember of him, for me this looks to get the best out of our squad

I'd rather see us set up 4231 than a 433, I think with our squad this suits us better and also gives us the protection and width

I'm really baffled by the likes of fabrice29, I get everyone has there options and that's great but surely people can see what RM is trying to achieve is an absolute shambles, he has no idea how to compete with this squad in the epl. Yes we've issues in the squad and lacking in certain positions but over eager in other positions, He was a shit defender himself, can't set up a defence whatever league he's in and generally hasn't a fu***** clue, but his over inflated ego won't allow him to see what's square in front of him

This is the thing though, RM had to change due to the GB situation if he'd hadn't been injured do you really think RM would've changed it, I certainly don't, I know some of his lovers on here will say 'we scored the goal like that' but we did change how we played, we were a little more considerate with our passing around dangerous areas

We can make it work but but nor to the extreme RM wants, a simple 4231 for me, gives the defence some shield without going 5atb, personel wise is still not great as we really needed a Rw and a Cf you could play Cornet lw if he's fit, Archer through the middle although all our forwards seem to want to play wide and come in. I'd like to see Fernandes in the 10 but understand he's probably not ready yet, id also consider TP as a different option and try and play off him, Ramsdale, KWP Bednarek, THB (ABK?) Sugawara, Downey, Les, Cornet, Fernandes, ???? and Archer, Rw is an issue be it BBD, AA, SAA none of which are ideal
