For home games they normally have condensed highlights first then extended 1st and 2nd half highlights a bit later (hence the 3 sets of highlights available for the Brum league match). Of course the cup might be an exception to the rule but I'd expect extended highlights to be appearing sometime in the next 24 hours or so.

You know if posters like Scooby and Sundance just backed off a bit people might, if not like, then learn to tolerate Lowe. Provided results keep going our way of course

Saints sign young Czech striker Tomas Pekhart on loan from Spurs

Why? Davis has been excellent so far this season and we've Bart and Tommy for back up. -
There's nothing more pleasurable than hearing opposition fans being complimentary about the way Southampton have played - especially when the opposition fans are doing so in defeat Good find Butootim!

ITV ****ERS less coverage than we got on sky Can't believe I stayed up for that.
-
ITV make special note that Reading ended with 5 academy graduates on the pitch. Will they mention we started with 5?
-
Deigo Maradona - 5'5'' I'm just saying
-
Or rather we had "It's just like watching Holland" at Derby, a least we did round where I was stood!

A big boy at home in the quarters = ££££££££££££ Feck it - a big boy in the final!
-
Tempted as I am to say "Arsenal away" let's have something like Crewe at home. Tonk them and save the big boys for later.

Crying with joy. We just tonked the best ****ing side in our division with a bunch of kids. COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!!

Every blinking corner I nearly have a coronary. C'mon Saints!
-
Brum seem far more in control this half - no surprise really, they're a very good side. Important test for the lads to see this out.
-
I'd still be interested in what our youngest first team starting line up was. I reckon we'll set a new record this season. Hell until someone comes up with a younger line up than tonight's 22.1 I'll call it a record
-
Brum corner... Set piece heart attack time... Out for another corner... then over the bar. and breathe...
-
Average age 22.1 still pretty damn young even with Wotton!
-
Bugger I was hoping they would rest Carsley tonight, he was running the show for them in the league match
-
You could just go to the cinema down the road. It might be a bit shabby but they show all the biggest blockbusters. Of course you do have to put up with the smell of fish.

Blackpool - a must win to regain som momentun after our defeat to Brum in the cup. 3 points. QPR - I can see us getting a win here, but I wouldn't want to count on getting anything. 0 points Ipswich - a very winnable game, so we'll get a draw. 1 points Barnsley - Another must win that we really should win. 3 points Doncaster - started well with a victory at Derby but not really shown anything since. 3 points Norwich - ah bugger it why not a win? 3 points 13 points? I must be on the happy pills.

My condolences to you and your family. And well done SFC.

very helpful Now what was the youngest ever line up for the first team?
-
You're okay - I'm within touching distance of forty, short sighted with dodgy knees and a bad back. Don't think I'm going to get my call up papers any time soon

With Svensson and Perry rested, and almost certainly Bart in goal, could we see the youngest ever Saints starting line-up tonight? Potentially we could see: Bart - 21 James - 20 Cork - 19 Lancashire - 19 Surman - 22 White - 18 Schneiderlin - 18 Gillett - 22 Holmes - 21 Lallana - 20 McGoldrick - 20 Average age just 20 years old! Anyone know what the youngest ever Saints line up was? Or for that matter the youngest starting 11 in the league cup?

After Saturday I'm kicking myself for not organising time off to go down for this one. I don't expect a win but the lads deserve all the support they can get.
-
No surprise with Kelvin's exclusion. WIthout him, Svensson or Perry we're going to be a bit lightweight at the back. But then I don't expect a win anway unless Birmingham really aren't up for it - they have a very good squad and I fully expect them to walk away with the Championship this season. Just play decent football and avoid humilation and I'll be happy. 3-1 to Brum.
