Yes he started here at CB but our RB is back home in Portugal on family leave so he has been playing at RB to cover but we Wycombe fans believe that when our RB returns, Jason should be in the starting 11 at CB replacing one of the current two there. He is an unbelievably good player and you guys have got a real starlet in your ranks. He gave an interview recently where he stated he would like to stay here for the remainder of the season and our manager GA has also publicly said that he wants him to stay so i wouldn't be surprised if it turns into a season long loan. http://www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/sport/14158715.McCarthy_wants_to_extend_loan_spell/

Wycombe fan here, just wanted to let you all know that McCarthy has been very impressive for us, just a shame that he arrived in the middle of a bad run but today's win and clean sheet will at least give him something to look back on in his time here. I can confirm that he has played all 90 minutes of every match so far during his loan period and I for one am hoping that we can extend his time here. Whilst the gulf between league two and the premiership is pretty big for a young lad he certainly has a great attitude, always encouraging the crowd and his team mates, he commands his third of the pitch very well. The only downside so far is the fact that we now have no league game for three weeks due to FA Cup and international weekend, I hope that doesn't mean his time with us has come to and end but if it has, thanks for loaning us such a brilliant and influential player :-)
