  1. I think even more so than Aguero, if Da Silva plays, we are well and truly done for. I just hope we don't get hammered and maybe rescue a point. http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php#c21
  2. Interesting thing is that they've practically had no injuries this season at all. I think Montero was out at some point, but other than that I don't remember anyone else from their starting XI being out. I've been wondering if there's some locker room problem going on. Last season Monk did pretty well even after they sold Bony and Swansea's squad really isn't that terrible in my opinion. Hoping they can turn it around.
  3. http://www.statto.com/football/teams/southampton/2015-2016 20 after 12 games. http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2014-2015/table/2014-11-24 26 after 12 games, just before the losses against City, United, Arsenal etc... We have pretty tough games in december with Arsenal/Spurs/West Ham so if we can get something out of those games and get 6 points at least out of Stoke and Villa then we're not doing too badly this season at all. Surprisingly well actually, since I thought Koeman would have a bit of a second season syndrome.
  4. Good thing we got the goal, I think if we had gone to the 80' minute goalless we would've conceded somehow. What's up with Juanmi though, does Koeman not rate him or why isn't he getting any game time?
  5. With the injuries going on at Liverpool and a thursday game, not to mention a managerial change, I don't think there is a better time to play against them. Klopp's a good manager, but he's not going to turn Liverpool into world-beaters in a week or two. If Liverpool have the same type of attack as in the Spurs game (Origi up top) then we can definitely beat them, probably still going to concede though. However if Sturridge and/or Benteke returns fully fit and we have Davis on goal... Well I guess we just have to hope their defense screws up even more than ours. Hoping for a tight 2-1 win.
  6. As long as we're not relegated, anything above that is a bonus for me. After going out so early in he Europa league, I thought that right, this is a season of rebuilding. Huge changes to the side, Forster out for the whole season, Schneiderlin replacement ready to play only just now... I mean 8th in the league, positive goal difference, it's honestly a lot better than I was expecting. Sides like Liverpool and Everton didn't lose any of their keyplayers and they're about on par with us right now. Mané looked like crap last year at this point and now people are talking of him going to Man United at the end of the season. Clasie needs to be given time, we're not like City who can just throw money in every general direction and see which player sticks and which doesn't. And more than anything I would love it if the onus would be on some other team this year, West Ham or someone else. Let someone raid them for once in a while and let us keep our players so that we can at least start the next season with a relatively established side.
  7. The scoreline is giving me a mighty deja vu, would be third time in a row this fixture ends in 1-1.
