Actually, yes. If we’re going down anyway (as all the experts on here tell me is a 100% guarantee), I’d have rather given a new guy a fresh start, untainted by failure, in the summer. The real culprits are Sports Republic. Four years of abysmal recruitment, no centre forward worth the name, big outgoing transfer fees wasted on players who can’t get a game. Good day out - great atmosphere, especially the nonstop OWTS from 50-60mins. I thought Downes and Bednarek were our best players and I’d quite like a keeper with Macca’s hands and Baz’s feet. Definitely not the best game but a decent result away from home. Glad all the negative shite on here doesn’t actually get reflected in the stadium.
