  1. There are finite resources anyway, so the faster we use it all up, the sooner renewable energy will need to be implemented, and the more importance it will have, the more funding etc. and the better the chance we have of reaching the ideal solution more quickly. Therefore, we should encourage as much energy wastage as possible, have the time of our lives and spunk it all over each other, get it all out of the way in one quick sharp, glorious shot, and let the future generations receive all the funding they need in order to resolve what will be an apparent and immediate crisis, rather than a slow and gradual decline that people can argue about until the cows come home and it is all too late. If we can accelerate the crisis, that can be our legacy.
  2. I assume Trump will come out and state that all Christians should be barred from entering the country until they get to the bottom of this.
  3. I would propose getting out of the way. It's not breaking this second.
  4. interesting. I got 86% hilary, 82% sanders, but I did still get two candidates (Gary Johnson (41%) and Ben Carson(41%)) below Trump at 46%. i'm reassured that Trump scored low...
  5. right, so I'm a bit of a leftie, the left hand graphic describes me quite well. I look at it and think I am comfortable being that way. I look at the right graphic, and see lots of things i don't like, and negative connotations. So my question is - is the above graphic biased towards the left, filling it with positive vibes, and biased against the right, filling it with negativity, or is it well balanced, and is it me who is biased? Is there anyone here who would read the right hand graphic and feel positive about being described by it?
  6. Clubs should charge the most they can whilst still filling the seats. think of the shareholders! they wants their money too! Football is a business, these are companies, not charities. if £77 is too much, then they won't sell them, and they'll come down in price - market forces.
  7. keep plugging away? it was only one post, with a genuine question! A quick search didn't pull anything up first time, but you are right about Reid: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/561991/Winston-Reid-Arsenal-Tottenham-Spurs-Man-Utd-Liverpool-West-Ham-deal Fact is, the goddess that Winston Reid is aside, West Ham players don't get linked to the big boys much, because they buy for their position. If we bought players with 6-10th place potential, like jenkinson, or valencia, or song, moses etc., then we could probably hold onto them and finish mid table every season.
  8. Did any of West Ham's players get courted by the big clubs? I'm not sure any of them are good enough to play for a top-six club, so there is not much pressure on their board to sell. If Liverpool had come in for Reid with a £20m bid, he'd have gone quick sharphish. Payet is their best player atm, but is not being linked with any of the big clubs...
  9. Darren bent to villa, just after finishing 6th, cost 24m, is getting there (over 20m) Soldado to spurs, just after finishing 5th, cost 25.8m, is arguable. But there are only 7 clubs who have spent more than 25m on a player; Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Everton and Spurs. Next bracket (15-24m) is Villa, Leeds, Newcastle, us and west ham.
  10. regarding the photos, I was one of the people who reported the original photo when posted, before the warning in the thread title, and think they absolutely shouldn't be on this forum. not because of the families and bereaved, but because I don't want young children who are following Saints and what should be a safe site for them, to come across images of violent murder. Can't believe anyone thinks it is justifiable to post them.
  11. Seven.
  12. +1 support your team
  13. I think we need to give Stoke a lot of credit. They worked hard, closed down the passing lanes, with the luxury of being away from home - which suits their style. I think we are a good passing side, and we just came up against a very good compact stoke side, and we ourselves had an off day. It's tough to find the passes when the opposition is set up that way. We'll continue to beat the bad teams, and we'll continue to lose to the top teams, and as to the rest, the stokes, southamptons, west hams, swanseas of this league, the games will be tight and rest on a knife edge - we'll win, lose and draw some of them. we lost one. I don't think one bad game is anything to worry about.
  14. No need to worry, this will have no impact on the effectiveness of homeopathic medicine, so we can just increase funding in that direction and heal people that way. This will also have no impact on the power of prayer - that will also continue to be as effective as it is now. so, nothing to worry about.
  15. Alexander Ostlund - must have performed 3 provable miracles at least, being Jesus and all.
