Exactly this. People wrongly assumed what we were seeing was the end product of what Martin was aiming to bring us. I personally thought the improvement we made from last season to those first couple of months, even the bad times, was massive and gave me hope that the more he was allowed to coach them the better they would become. Still think the personnel in the squad is limited in terms of quality at the top level but keep Martin working on their improvements and keep giving him better players each window and keep watching us improve.

Still finding the football entertaining. Hope the people who mocked me are too.

Are you talking about Rasmus? Because if so, you're going to hate it when you find out.

Morgan is injured, quite a serious one soon after he joined Chelsea so lets not start waffling about how he's lost in Chelsea's system. Also find it really funny when people have a pop at young players daring to have ambition and backing themselves to be a success at a big club. Might not be common or an easy pathway but if JJM's serious injury took place whilst he was here, not only would his career be set back but he'd be years away from a dream move to a big club. When kids make moves they are just being ambitious and backing themselves, it's not a pathway for everyone, it's really easy to say "just stay and make a name for yourself here" but there's no guarantee that happens and they might be losing a big opportunity they won't get again. Feels like the "all about the money" stuff is just far too easy to say. I would also point out you only need to look at some of the players we have signed from City to see the education you get at a top level youth team and the levels you can reach. It has it's perks even if you don't make the first team. Also, as a side note, I saw some people having a pop at giving Vokins minutes on Twitter. The idea you just drop and ignore someone who came through the academy is really moronic on so many levels.

Find two together and put yours on the exchange.

Note the article isn’t his CV.

I think he didn't want to sign one last year because he wanted evidence he would get game time this season. The injury has come at an awful time in that regard as now he's got a lot of work on to get into the side and doubt he'll sign one if he doesn't. Think it could just be unfortunate timing of events that lead to him leaving. Germany mentioned last season.
-
Neither would be the smart guess.

Anyone with any info on Kami Doyle? Lack of news on him suggests he's off to me.
-
Anyone who has been in this league for two years doesn’t want to be here anymore. You lose all fun of it the moment you lose the incentive of going up.
-
No idea but Martin said the other day he's been pulled out by us.
-
He's not.

I don't think I doubted whether he deserved one did I? I couldn't care less who gets one and who doesn't. They are quite clearly nonsense and there's quite clearly no threshold to get one. I just wanted to point out how odd is that people get these weird recognitions all the time and people like Milner, Henderson and whoever else didn't cause any reaction at all but a woman named the best player in her position during a world tournament isn't sufficient and triggers a reaction.
-
Okay, just going to have a little scroll through and see if I can find the criticism for Leah Williamson or Lucy Bronze or any other woman when they received the same honours. Just to dispel the idea that you're just doing it because others you find amusing are. Also as this is a forum for football if you can point me in the direction your criticism of Jordan Henderson, Jonny Evans or James Milner that'll be helpful. Or maybe because it's a Saints forum you can point me towards the posts you made when Steven Davis got one?

I don't think Joe Hart has won a Euro's or been runner up in a World Cup has he? Trying to work out how and why these things are awarded other than "Royal family reps trying to keep the Royal family look like they are in touch with the public" just seems a bit stupid. I'm not sure they were ever actually prestigious were they? There just wasn't mediums to create debate and focus on who was being given them. There is loads of these you can question so yes, when the one that seems to have irked you is a woman, and coincidently is being picked on by misogynists trying to keep themselves relevant with other misogynists , you will attract snidey comments. And you know you will, that's why you do it. So you're welcome that I obliged.
-
Ah yes, good old fashioned misogyny and desperate advertising for his own failing podcast. So entertaining.
-
Daaamn, so desperate to criticise and be right that you’re writing him off because of a situation he hasn’t even had a chance to tackle yet. Just enjoy this season for now mate.
-
Well it probably means he wasn’t spending the night before in Southampton covered in a Saints scarf.

It won’t end. People will continue to over hype sport stars and do silly things like name a tram after them. It’s always happened and it always will. You’re annoyed at the naming of a tram, in an area you don’t live I assume, because it’s a woman who had some recent media attention. That sadly won’t end either.
-
Yeah I was saying something deliberately silly just like you.

One more saved penalty than Shilton who picks up a CBE.

Nobody tell Farmer about the full video please. Love the innocence.

Fair few faces to spot in here, Le Tiss, Chamberlain, Sunak obviously. Could be massively over reacting here but young lad and his family draped in Saints scarfs…Micah Hamilton?
